A 33-year-old Culver City woman pleaded not guilty Thursday, Sept. 10, to attempted murder charges stemming from a shooting in Manhattan Beach earlier this week, authorities said.

Sharday Ebony Tinker allegedly fired a handgun at her husband and a woman he was with as they sat in a parked vehicle in the parking lot of the Residence Inn in Manhattan Beach early Tuesday morning, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office said.

She then drove off, but was found hours later by Manhattan Beach officers, Sgt. Tim Zins said. No one was injured in the shooting.

Tinker faces two counts of attempted murder and one count of shooting at an occupied motor vehicle with allegations of using a handgun and having prior felony convictions, prosecutors said.

If convicted as charged, she faces a possible maximum sentence of 54 years to life in state prison.

She remained jailed on more than $2 million bail.
