A Manhattan Beach police officer was charged last week with allegedly sending explicit messages through social media to a 15-year-old girl he met when she went to the police station to report a crime, Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascon said on Wednesday, March 3.
The Hermosa Beach Police Department has deployed several traffic officers over the past month to provide additional enforcement on The Strand, bike path, and surrounding areas, according to a press release.
