Known for its class and sophistication among the beach cities, it's no surprise that Manhattan Beach possesses a rich collection of fine dining restaurants. Realizing we probably left out a few great ones, here is a non-definitive list of the 10 best Manhattan Beach restaurants. 

Four Daughters Kitchen

Second Story at the Belamar Hotel

Lunch or dinner you won’t be disappointed. Pizzas and their flavorful brussel sprouts are a must, burgers are great, and their turkey and Brie sandwich served with fries is a favorite. The Strand House    

Couldn’t be a more perfect to have a meal at sunset. Fish Bar

Bustling with beach goers, families, and seafood lovers. Fish Bar is the place to go for a robust and fresh seafood menu at great prices. The lobster mac & cheese is a must order and they update their seafood selection according to what’s fresh and seasonal. With fish flown in daily, chef Jessica Jordan (a South Bay native) brings her passion for food in the preparation of every dish served. Petros Greek Cuisine and Lounge

One of the gems of Metlox Plaza, Petros offers classic Greek cuisine with Mediterranean flair in an elegant setting that is both relaxing and revitalizing. Start out with their amazing combo-dip appetizer then dive into the full menu. The Greek sea bass is a particular favorite. Fishing with Dynamite

Another from head chef/owner David LeFevre comes Fishing with Dynamite , which was named Best Oyster Bar by Los Angeles Magazine. LeFevre said he created the menu to celebrate summers spent on Virginia's Eastern Shore and Southern California's beach communities. Arthur J

The Arthur J opened its doors in 2015 as the latest in a series of restaurants owned and operated by the Simms family, beginning with The Kettle in 1975. The steakhouse, with decor inspired by a 1960s Palm Springs getaway, is named after Arthur Simms, the family's patriarch. To create a “really great steakhouse” that offers wet and dry-aged USDA prime and certified Angus beef prepared on a wood-fired grill, another led by head chef David LeFevre. Darren's Restaurant

Chef/owner Darren Weiss of Darren’s in Manhattan Beach has created a dining experience in Manhattan Beach that's second to none. MB Post    

This recent addition to Manhattan Beach is in the same location of the original post office, so the vibe is nostalgic with an infusion of hip. Food is brought to your table straight from the kitchen, so eating as served is part of the experience here. The bacon cheddar buttermilk biscuits are to-die! The servers are gracious and helpful in your decisions as there is much to choose from.
