After 16 years, the new Manhattan Beach skate spot at Marine Avenue Park got its grand opening celebration Saturday, March 18.
“It’s really a culmination all of the hard work that the community has put into developing this project. There’s literally been hundreds, if not thousands of people within the community that have shared their input,” Director of Parks and Recreation Mark Leyman said last week. “I think what is exciting is to see the actual design now. How creative it is, how innovative it is and how it really ties in with the community.”
