Suspects in an Oct. 8 home invasion robbery in the 400 block of 27th Street in Manhattan Beach have been arrested, according to local police.
A female juvenile from Los Angeles who allegedly orchestrated the robbery and one of three male suspects who carried out the plans, 21-year-old Jermaine Myles of Long Beach, were taken into custody Nov. 5.
The robbery took place around 2:37 a.m. Oct. 8 in the 400 block of 27th Street in Manhattan Beach.
Three male black suspects entered a residence armed with handguns, tied up two victims, ransacked the home and stole a vehicle, police said.
Detectives conducted an investigation and discovered the victims had befriended the suspects on Instagram and were invited to the residence on the day of the crime.
The Manhattan Beach and Gardena police SWAT teams served a search warrant in the 5500 block of Langport Avenue in Long Beach Nov. 5, taking the female suspect and Myles into custody.
The female juvenile has been charged with robbery, burglary and conspiracy. Miles has been charged with kidnapping, robbery, burglary and conspiracy.
Detectives are still working to identify the two additional suspects at-large, but were able to recover the stolen vehicle from Los Angeles.
