Sea Hawk Bowl at Redondo Union High School was filled with friends and family Thursday, June 20, to celebrate a rite of passage for the graduating class of 2019.

About 660 seniors, donned in red and white graduation gowns, walked across the stage to receive their diplomas at the school’s football stadium. The commencement marked the 114th graduating class at the high class.

To end the ceremony, students gathered in a circle. When Principal Jens Brandt rang a “unity bell,” the class flung their caps into the air as family and friends filtered onto the field.
