Devin Rashaad Hamilton, a 20-year old Lancaster resident, was arrested after a string of crimes in Hermosa Beach on Friday, April 24.

Hermosa Beach police received two stolen vehicle reports on April 24 and a vehicle burglary report. A third vehicle was also stolen but later located a few blocks away with a replica handgun left inside. The four events took place in proximity of each other, according to police.

A short time after the vehicles were stolen, one of the victim's credit cards was used by the suspects at various locations and later in Lancaster.

Detectives were notified by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department that one of the stolen vehicles had also been located in Lancaster.

Detectives located surveillance video of the suspects using credit cards, and after further investigation, served a search warrant on Hamilton's residence, according to police.

Hamilton was arrested and booked at the Hermosa Beach jail.
