The above suspect in a string of thefts was photographed on a Ring doorbell camera.

Manhattan Beach police are looking for a man they say stole items from unlocked vehicles after attempting to enter homes in residential neighborhoods last week.

The string of thefts occurred in the 3000 block of Poinsettia Avenue and the 700 block of 31st Street in Manhattan Beach on June 4, police said in a release.

The suspect entered several unlocked vehicles and stole miscellaneous items, police said.

The man is described as white, 20 to 30 years old and was wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt, light blue beanie cap and a red backpack at the time the crimes were committed.

He was caught on two Ring doorbell cameras and may have committed a residential burglary the following night, June 5, police said.

Anyone with information on the identity of the suspect or his location is asked to contact Detective Taylor Klosowski at 310-802-5126 or the Manhattan Beach Police Department’s Tip Line at 310-802-5171.
