Attempted burglary

Two men attempted to break into a home in the 1100 block of 22nd Street while the victim was in the house during the morning of Aug. 22. The victim told police she heard knocking at her front door. When she looked out, she saw two men run away. The lock on the victim's rear glass door had been damaged, possibly by the suspects, who were not located.

Residential burglary

Three suspects were arrested after reportedly breaking into a garage in the 1800 block of Oak Ave. on Sept. 13. According to police, the suspects stole a garage door opener from an unlocked parked car and gained access to the garage using the remote. The resident was notified by a security camera device and called the police. The suspects were arrested and transported to jail for booking.

Car burglary

A catalytic converter was stolen from a Honda CRV in the 1300 block of Elm Ave., sometime between Aug. 31 and Sept. 4.

Theft

A wallet containing cash, driver's license, gift cards, debit and credits cards was stolen from a purse in the 100 block of Manhattan Beach Blvd. on Sept. 7.

A toolbox was stolen from a residence in the 1000 block of Rosecrans Ave. on Sept. 8.

Boxes of cast iron pipe fittings was stolen from a construction site in the 3000 block of Pacific Ave. on Sept. 8.

Auto theft

A 2003 Mini Cooper was reported stolen in the 3200 block of Sepulveda Blvd. on Sept. 6.

A 2008 Acura was reported stolen in the 2800 block of Pacific Ave. on Sept. 1.
