Residential burglary

An unknown suspect entered a residence in the 1400 block of 12th Street July 6-9 through an unlocked rear sliding door and stole electronics. 

Theft from vehicle

An unknown suspect entered an unlocked vehicle in the 1500 block of 10th Street July 9 and stole cash and miscellaneous items. 

A catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle in the 700 block of Dianthus Street July 6-8. 

An unknown suspect entered an unlocked vehicle in the lower pier parking lot July 5 and stole a purse with credit cards. 

An unknown suspect entered a vehicle in the 1100 block of the Strand July 9 and stole two purses. 

An unknown suspect entered an unlocked vehicle iin the 1600 block of Curtis Avenue on July 10 and stole credit cards. 

Hermosa Beach

Theft

A parking pass was stolen from a vehicle while parked in a garage in the 00 block of 8th Court July 3.

A parking pass was stolen from a vehicle in the 400 block of Manhattan Avenue July 4. 

A parking pass was stolen from a vehicle in the 1600 block of Loma Drive July 1. 

A bicycle left unlocked during Junior Guards was stolen June 28 from Hermosa Avenue and the Strand. 

A backpack left unattended on the beach at 19th Street was stolen July 9.

Burglary

An unknown suspect entered a victim's vehicle by unknown means in the 700 block of 1st Street and stole various items. 

Vandalism

A known suspect punched a hole in a person's valuable painting in the 500 block of Herondo Street sometime between June 11 and July 7. 

An unknown person damaged the fence around the flower bed of a business in the 1300 block of Hermosa Avenue July 6. 

Fraud

A named suspect fraudulently used a doctor's prescription pad, forged the doctor's signature and had prescriptions filled in the 500 block of Pier Avenue.
