Residential burglary

A diamond ring and a credit card were stolen from a home in the 1500 block of Wendy Way between Nov. 17 and 24. There were no signs of forced entry.

An unknown suspect(s) entered a garage in the 1000 block of 11th Street on Dec. 2 and stole a locked bicycle.

Vehicle burglary

Three pairs of sunglasses were stolen from a car in the 1500 block of 6th Street between Nov. 29 and Dec. 2.

Diving gear was stolen from a car in the 4300 block of Crest Drive between Nov. 28 and 29.

Clothing and other personal items were stolen from an unlocked car in the El Porto Parking Lot on Nov. 17.


Mail was stolen from a home in the 700 block of 29th Street on Nov. 29.

Hermosa Beach


Unknown person gained access to victim's personal banking information and opened fraudulent accounts in the 600 block of 8th St. on Nov. 26.

After gaining access to the victim's personal banking information in the 400 block of Pier Ave. on Nov. 30, the suspect attempted to buy property.

A suspect claimed to be a contractor and took funds to do work that was not completed in the 500 block of Pier Ave. on July 9.


Several vehicles were damaged after suspect hit them with a fire extinguisher in the 900 block of 14th St. on Nov. 29.


Bicycles were stolen from an secured garage in the 400 block of Herondo St. between Nov. 15 and 16.
