Sidecar Doughnuts & Coffee holds a grand opening for its fourth location on Monday, Sept. 23 at Rolling Hills Plaza in Torrance, 2549-B Pacific Coast Highway.

Mmmmm, doughnuts.

Sweet circular perfection will roll its way to Torrance this month as Sidecar Doughnuts & Coffee holds a grand opening for its fourth location on Monday, Sept. 23, at Rolling Hills Plaza, 2549-B Pacific Coast Highway.

If it was possible to have farm to table doughnuts, this place would be the one to pull it off because they make their sweet confections daily from scratch.

That means they use seasonal ingredients with doughnuts fried in small batches every hour. Yes, brand new doughnuts every 60 minutes.

And if you doubt that, the new Torrance location has an open design where people can watch the whole doughnut making process.

But hey, all this fresh goodness isn’t cheap so bring some serious dough if you want to try options such as the Fluffernutter & Huckleberry Jelly, which is topped with peanut butter glaze and huckleberry jam for $4.50, or for those with dietary restrictions that somehow still allow doughnuts in their diets, there’s the vegan chocolate doughnut that, according to the menu, is also “gluten friendly” for $5.

Sidecar Doughnuts & Coffee is open from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

The shop also has locations in Costa Mesa, Santa Monica and Del Mar.
