The BeachLife Festival, in partnership with the Los Angeles Kings, donated $60,000 to its philanthropic partners Saturday, June 29 at Saint Rocke in Hermosa Beach.

The nonprofit beneficiaries included Surfrider, 5 Gyres, Life Rolls On, The Redondo Beach Police Foundation, Rob Machado Foundation and Walk with Sally. The BeachLife Festival, which took place in May at the Seaside Lagoon in Redondo Beach, raised funds through ticket sales, curated events, the Big Wave Awards in partnership with World Surf League, and partnering with the LA Kings.

Drawing thousands of festival-goers, BeachLife featured 40 acts including headliners Brian Wilson, Bob Weir, and Willie Nelson, plus sets from Jason Mraz, Ziggy Marley, Slightly Stoopid, Violent Femmes, Steel Pulse, Grace Potter, Blues Traveler, Bruce Hornsby, Everclear, Chevy Metal, Sugar Ray, Donavon Frankenreiter, and many more.
