Bobby Collins hosts 'Comics for a Cause' Wednesday, June 12, at the Comedy and Magic Club.

Stand-up comedian and author Bobby Collins hosts the 11th annual “Comics for a Cause,” Wednesday, June 12, at the Comedy and Magic Club in Hermosa Beach.

All proceeds benefit the Zeno Mountain Farm, a nonprofit organization that offers people with and without disabilities unique camp experiences with the goal of building life-long friendships, community bonds and the opportunity to participate in activities never deemed possible.

“'Comics for a Cause' is a very personal and special show for me,” Collins said. “When my second child Madison was born, we were told she wouldn't survive more than 10 years. She is now 25 years old and thriving. She has participated in Zeno Mountain Farm camps longer than doctors said she could survive, and this camp has not only brought much joy and purpose into her life, but also my entire family.”

Collins will be joined by Larry Miller, Crestela Alonzo and more to be announced.

Tickets are $75 to $125 and are available at comedyandmagicclub.com or m.bpt.me/event/4245692.

The Comedy and Magic Club is located at 1018 Hermosa Ave.
