Children's book authors will be featured at Pages bookstore and the Manhattan Beach Library this week.
Kay A. Haring, author of “Keith Haring: The Boy Who Just Kept Drawing,” will appear at the Manhattan Beach Library Wednesday, Feb. 15, beginning at 3:30 p.m. The book explores the life and art of Keith Haring. Kay, Keith's sister, will host a book signing and interactive art lesson for grades 2 to 5 and their caregivers.
Louis Thomas, author of “Hug It Out,” appears at the Manhattan Beach Library, Saturday, Feb. 18, beginning at 11 a.m. The book is a take on sibling rivalry and conflict resolution, as two sparing siblings are forced to “hug it out.”
Andrea Loney, author of “Bunny Bear,” hosts a storytime at Pages Monday, Feb. 20, beginning at 10:30 a.m.
