The coming-of-age tale, “Age of Summer,” which was filmed entirely in the South Bay, had its premiere at the Hermosa Beach Playhouse on Sept. 6.

Directed by Bill Kiely and produced under his Hermosa Beach-based company Windowseat Pictures, the film tells the story of a teen who tries out for a spot on the Junior Lifeguards while balancing challenges of new friends in his new home town of Hermosa Beach.

“Age of Summer” is now available on iTunes, Amazon and Hulu.
